The Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions seeks a highly skilled Policymaking Manager to enhance Aboriginal economic growth.

This role will strengthen strategic advice to harness the State's resources for driving economic development, participation, and prosperity among Victorian Aboriginal communities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with senior managers in developing evidence-based strategies for wealth creation among Aboriginal Victorians.
  • Building relationships with stakeholders to support Aboriginal economic development.
  • Liaising with senior management in both the public and private sectors to negotiate economic outcomes for the community.

To succeed in this position, you will have:

  • Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder relationship building and management.
  • Specialist knowledge of the Victorian Aboriginal community and impacting issues on society and culture.
  • Strong policy analysis skills, including preparing and communicating policy options and recommendations.
  • Highly developed communication skills at senior levels.
