Data Systems and Development Manager

The Sydney Children's Hospitals Network is seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the Systems, Data and Development team within the Performance Unit.
This position plays a critical role in realizing the network's vision of having leading edge, integrated, and mobile data solutions that guide action.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in SQL programming, large databases, and high-level analytical skills. They must also possess excellent communication, planning, time management, and organisational skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the Systems, Data and Development team to achieve strategic objectives and drive business outcomes.
- Developing and implementing data strategies to support internal and external reporting requirements.
- Managing data assets, including extraction, transformation, load, and storage of clinical and non-clinical information.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to design and implement data-driven solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, and/or equivalent work experience. They must be motivated, willing to learn new concepts, and committed to continuous improvement.
