Forecast Planning Specialist

About the Role
Warrikal is seeking a Forecast Planning Specialist to support the planning function by driving the forecast of all Operational Project works for the business.
Your Responsibilities
- Execute the forecast planning function for operational projects to ensure packages of works are delivered to mobilisation as per workflow timeline.
- Develop and maintain resource communications to operational projects team to provide resource directions for relevant time periods.
- Liaise with operational projects team to plan future workforce resources to ensure required targets meet client needs.
- Control and map incoming works and liaise with operational projects team and Planning Manager with assessment of capability of Warrikal supplying resources to those works.
- Provide reports on future state position held with regards to resourcing levels to operational projects team and Planning Manager and outline any opportunities and/or risks which may arise.
- Provide alternative solutions to operational projects and Planning Manager with regards to resource allocation.
- Control resource requests to recruitment based on forecasted works shortfalls.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all stakeholders, both Warrikal employees in the office and working onsite.
- Promote internal team behaviours and practice a high level of service, always.
- Liaise with Forecast Planning Manager and key stakeholders to analyse and deliver strategies to enhance the Warrikal footprint across existing and potential future clients.
About You
- Ownership of deliverables set by key timelines.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Strong working knowledge of the mining industry across the Pilbara.
- Ability to compile, analyse and map out workforce labour across multiple sites.
- Deliver clear and concise action plans influencing outcomes.
- Ability to develop and deliver processes with Planning Manager.
- High organisational skills.
- Capable to develop and maintain professional interpersonal skills with all personnel and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with the ability to be proactive and solutions driven with tasks.
- Experience with workforce planning software.
