Investment Performance Analyst Role Overview

This role involves delivering daily, monthly, and ad-hoc performance and attribution measurements to investment and distribution teams.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile attribution to portfolio performance.
  • Resolve issues with security analytics and attribution results.
  • Build dashboards and reporting formats.
  • Collaborate with other departments to source information.
  • Provide insights on drivers of return.

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need a strong analytical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Required Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree in Data Analytics, Actuarial Science, Engineering, Business, Commerce, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in performance, analytics, or a related role in funds management, superannuation, or custody.
  • Experience in Equity, Fixed Income, or Multi-Asset Attribution.
  • Understanding of commonly used Fixed Interest and/or Multi Asset instruments.
  • Understanding of performance methodologies.
  • Ability to build relationships with investment teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, attention to detail, and critical thinking skills.
  • Highly articulate in written and verbal communication.
  • Strong systems experience using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
