Overview

Investment Performance Analyst - Perpetual Asset Management role at Perpetual Limited (ASX: PPT).

Key Responsibilities

The Investment Analytics & Risk team covers a variety of asset classes including Equity, Fixed Income & Credit, and Multi-Asset. The Performance function elements that this role would be responsible for delivering include:

  • Daily, monthly and, ad-hoc Performance and Attribution measurement to Investment and Distribution Teams, and for Investment Oversight.
  • Reconciliation of Attribution to Portfolio Performance.
  • Resolving issues with security Analytics and Attribution results.
  • Building dashboards and reporting formats to meet the above objectives.
  • Working with other departments to source information as required.
  • Providing relevant insights on the drivers of return with Perpetual's portfolios.
About you

You're a detail-oriented analyst with a passion for investment performance and a drive to deliver insights that matter. Ideally you will bring:

  • Undergraduate degree in from Data Analytics, Actuarial, Engineering, Business, Commerce, Mathematics or related field.
  • At least 1 years' experience within Performance, Analytics or related roles in funds management, superannuation or custody
  • Experience in Equity, Fixed Income or Multi-Asset Attribution
  • Understanding of commonly used Fixed Interest and/or Multi Asset instruments
  • Understanding of Performance methodologies
  • Experience working closely and building relationships with investment teams
  • Sound organisational and time management skills, with a proven ability to set and work to priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, attention to detail and critical thinking skills essential
  • Highly articulate in written and verbal communication
  • Systems - strong experience using Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of PowerBI, VBA beneficial
  • Experience using FactSet highly regarded.
