Job Overview

The Senior Coordinator Engineering Design plays a pivotal role in the delivery of high-quality stormwater and civil design services, enhancing the liveability, safety, and sustainability of our growing city.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead a high-performing engineering design team to ensure all projects meet quality, budget, and time requirements.
  • Oversee the preparation and authorisation of civil stormwater designs in line with professional standards and legislative obligations.
  • Manage project resources, including forecasting and reporting.
  • Develop strategic plans, technical reports, and policy documents to guide infrastructure outcomes.
  • Engage and collaborate with stakeholders, developers, consultants, community groups, and internal teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Essential Requirements
  • Degree in Civil Engineering with Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) registration and NER accreditation.
  • Minimum 8 years' post-qualification experience in stormwater design and cost estimation.
  • High-level proficiency in AutoCAD, 12D, DRAINS, HEC-RAS, XP-RAFTS, TUFLOW, and MUSIC software tools.
  • Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Current Class C driver's licence.
