Job Title: Strategic Regional Leader

A key opportunity exists for a strategic regional leader to drive the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans that align with our goals and objectives, working closely with members and stakeholders.
  • Represent our interests at state and local levels, advocating for the region's needs and concerns.
  • Collaborate with other Joint Organisations and NSW government departments to achieve common goals and address regional challenges.

About Us:

We are a grouping of regional councils across NSW, comprising 11 councils. Our mission is to create a thriving region abundant in sustainable communities through collaborative planning, priority setting, advocacy, and engagement with governments and key stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • An accomplished executive with a strong track record of leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • The ability to work collaboratively, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of NSW government structures, policies, and programs, as well as experience working with joint organisations and regional councils.
