Strategic Director Opportunity

We are seeking a visionary leader to join our Board of Directors and contribute to the delivery of our new strategic plan. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals who want to shape the future of aged care, disability, and children's services.
As a member of our Board, you will work collaboratively with Co-CEOs, the Executive, and fellow Directors to set and progress strategic direction. You will provide strategic expertise in your area of experience and oversee risk management, governance, and budget monitoring.
About the RoleThis is a contract position that offers the opportunity to progress to Chair or Deputy Chair, supported by a mentor. As a Director, you will be responsible for applying our values and fundamentals in Board decision-making, working collaboratively with stakeholders, and influencing policy to strengthen community outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic guidance and oversight to support the achievement of organisational objectives
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement strategic plans
- Contribute to the review and development of policies and procedures
- Participate in Board meetings and committees as required
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience as a Board Director, Chair, or Deputy Chair
- Strong strategic thinking, governance, and leadership skills
- A strong connection to regional and rural communities in Australia
