About the Role

This Human Resources Officer position offers a highly competitive salary package, including an estimated annual salary of $95,000 - $110,000, depending on experience, plus generous benefits such as study leave, LSL, salary packaging, and mental health days.

The successful candidate will work autonomously to undertake industrial and employee relations investigations, HR generalist activities, and provide trusted HR advice to BADAC team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage HR generalist activities, including employee negotiations, performance management, compliance, onboarding, and training and development.
  • Advocate and negotiate with unions and other external bodies as required.
  • Investigate and manage employee relations issues and disputes.
  • Provide HR guidance and support to BADAC team members.
  • Support broader HR unit projects as needed.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated senior years of experience in a Human Resources generalist role, including managing legally compliant IR/ER investigation processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Positive and proactive approach with exceptional attention to detail.
  • A relevant qualification in Human Resources.
  • Experience in Not for Profit sector.
