About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Operations Manager to join our team at the Bendigo care home.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily clinical operations of the care home, supporting and leading the clinical team, and ensuring the highest standard of ongoing assessment, care planning, and evaluation.

As a key member of our leadership team, you will work closely with the General Manager to manage and lead the delivery of person-centered care to residents, promoting their health, lifestyle, and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily clinical operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with ACFI assessments and legislative requirements.
  • Support and lead the care home clinical team, including coaching, mentoring, staff allocations, and delegation.
  • Review clinical incidents, complaints, and changes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Manage person-centered care planning and evaluation for residents, including case conferencing with families and carers.
  • Liaise with allied health, medical practitioners, and other services to provide optimal resident care.
Requirements
  • Current AHPRA registration is essential.
  • Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent is essential.
  • Post-graduate qualification in aged care is highly regarded.
  • Experience managing a minimum of 30 beds is required.
  • Proven track record in delivering quality clinical care within an aged care or acute setting.
  • Excellent clinical assessment skills and care planning capabilities.
  • Highly effective communication, leadership, and relationship management skills.
Estimated Salary

$80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
