Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to provide clinical services and support to regional locations across Australia. This dynamic role involves delivering high-quality care to vulnerable clients.
About the Position
- You will be responsible for conducting phone-based intake, assessment, and triage, as well as providing immediate clinical mental health support and referrals to specialist services.
- You will work closely with clinicians, family members, and treatment providers to coordinate care and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Ongoing learning and development opportunities will enable you to maintain your professional registration and stay up-to-date with best practices in client care.
Essential Requirements
- You must hold or be able to obtain a Working with Vulnerable People registration.
- You must hold or be able to obtain a Working with Children check.
- You must have qualifications as a registered Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Registered Nurse with full AHPRA registration, or a Social Worker with membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
Key Responsibilities
- You will possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to provide trauma-informed, holistic client-centered intake, assessment, and brief intervention.
- You will be able to complete clinically appropriate intake assessments and documentation, including formulated risk assessments.
- You will have a high level of written and verbal communication skills, sound judgement, and the ability to respond to critical incidents calmly and timely.
The Ideal Candidate Profile
- You will undertake various shifts across 24 hours, 7 days a week, providing high-quality clinical services, including risk assessment and intervention, intake, and referral.
- You will ensure compliance with clinical practice policy and use specific clinical forms/templates as mandated.
- You will provide evidence-based individual, couple, and family counseling, and case management to eligible clients.
