Job Summary

We are looking for a talented engineer who can design, develop, and implement innovative video compression algorithms and technologies. The successful candidate will have expertise in video compression standards (such as HEVC or VVC), machine learning (especially computer vision topics), and programming languages like Python and C++. They will also have excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop innovative video compression algorithms and technologies
  • Contribute to the development of new video compression standards and technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate video compression solutions into our products and services
  • Participate in international standards committees and contribute to the development of industry-wide standards

Requirements

  • PhD qualified in a relevant area of expertise, such as video compression or machine learning
  • Expertise in video compression standards (such as HEVC or VVC) and machine learning (especially computer vision topics)
  • High degree of proficiency in programming languages like Python and C++
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary package: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience
