About This Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned sales leader fluent in Japanese with a deep understanding of the logistics industry to join our client's team in Alexandria, Sydney.

Our client is a leader in Freight Forwarding, Air and Ocean Logistics, Customs Brokerage, and 3PL services, recognised for their ability to deliver innovative and comprehensive logistics solutions that meet the evolving needs of a diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Business Development: Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities, expanding the client portfolio and driving revenue growth.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies that align with the company's growth objectives, leveraging your industry expertise to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior sales team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends and market conditions to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
Requirements
  • Extensive Experience: 5+ years in a senior sales role within the Freight Forwarding or Logistics industry.
  • Leadership Abilities: Proven experience in leading and mentoring sales teams, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strategic Mindset: Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies.
  • Bilingual Proficiency: Fluency in Japanese and English, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the logistics and supply chain industry, with a focus on Freight Forwarding.
  • Proactive and Results-Driven: A proactive, results-oriented approach with a passion for driving business growth.
  • Legal Right to Work: Legal right to work in Australia; own transport preferred.
