**Homeless Support Specialist Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate professional to join our team as a Homeless Support Specialist. In this critical role, you will work closely with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless.

The successful candidate will provide holistic assessments, goal setting, and case planning to achieve positive outcomes for clients. This may involve working in partnership with other service providers to ensure that clients receive the necessary support and resources to maintain long-term housing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop individualized holistic assessments and goals/case plans for clients
  • Support clients to connect with community services and engage with other relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with organizational requirements, including record keeping and data entry

About You:

  • You will have prior experience in case management and a strong connection to supporting marginalized people experiencing homelessness, addiction, or mental health issues.
  • You will bring the following skills and experience:
    • Full unrestricted South Australia Driver's Licence
    • DHS Working with Children Check
    • National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
    • First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain)
    • Safe Environments for Children and Young People (or willing to obtain)
