We are seeking a skilled Subcontracts Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the E7-A Sustainment Team, you will be responsible for supporting several sub-contracts and working closely with stakeholders to meet complex supply chain requirements.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining currency of existing subcontracts and negotiating subcontract variations;
  • Managing existing subcontracts and promoting subcontractor collaboration;
  • Developing practical solutions to complex procurement and subcontracts issues;
  • Preparing, negotiating, and executing contract documentation;
  • Managing subcontractor invoicing compliance and reporting;
  • Participating in risk identification and mitigation planning; and
  • Ensuring compliance with supply chain management corporate governance policies and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications">

The successful candidate will have:

  • Three to five years' work experience in contracts management or procurement;
  • A relevant Bachelor's degree in law, business, or commerce (desirable);
  • Effective written and verbal communications skills;
  • Good working knowledge of contracting and procurement responsibilities and their interdependencies;
  • A willingness to work in a team environment;
  • Australian citizenship to meet Defence security requirements.
