About the role
ASV Sales and Service Pty Ltd sister company CEG Distributions is seeking an experienced Parts Manager to join our team in Hexham, NSW. As Parts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective distribution of our products to customers across the region. This full-time role plays a crucial part in supporting our growth and success within the construction equipment industry.
What you'll be doing
Managing supply relationships with Dealer network
Manage the day-to-day operations of our Dealer network Parts & Distribution department, including planning, scheduling and monitoring the movement of goods
Oversee the receiving, warehousing, and shipping of products to ensure timely deliveries
Continuously seek ways to improve distribution processes and systems to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Liaise with suppliers and customers to ensure the smooth flow of goods and resolve any issues that may arise
Analyse data and generate reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement
Manage and develop the distribution team, providing guidance, training and performance feedback
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
What we're looking for
Minimum 5 years' experience in a parts or distribution management role, preferably within the construction equipment industry
Willingness to be hands on
Strong understanding of parts processes, logistics and supply chain management
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve operational goals
Proficient in using distribution management software and data analysis tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders
Tertiary qualification in parts, supply chain management or a related field is desirable
