About the Role

Kirinari Community Services Limited is seeking a skilled and compassionate Complex Disability Support Worker to join our Central West team. As a key member of our Complex Care Team, you will provide essential support services to individuals with complex trauma and behavioral needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to promote client growth and well-being
  • Provide hands-on support and assistance to clients in various settings, including residential care, community centers, and emergency accommodation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and trauma-informed care
  • Contribute to a strength-based, non-punitive therapeutic model of care that prioritizes client safety and empowerment
Requirements
  • Qualification in Community Services (Cert IV) or equivalent
  • Strong interest in youth work, mental health, and disability support
  • Understanding of strength-based trauma-informed practice framework and NSW Child Safe Standards
  • Previous experience in residential therapeutic care and complex trauma support is highly regarded
  • Ability to work shift work, including regular sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays
  • Ability to obtain NDIS Workers Screen Check and NSW Working with Children Check prior to commencement
