About the Role

Kirinari Community Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Complex Disability Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our Complex Care Team, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with complex trauma and behavioral needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to promote growth and well-being
  • Provide hands-on support and assistance to clients in various settings, including homes, schools, and community centers
  • Work collaboratively with clients, families, and other stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes
  • Contribute to a strength-based, non-punitive, therapeutic model of care that prioritizes safety and growth
Requirements
  • Ability to work shift work, including regular sleepovers and weekends
  • NDIS Workers Screen Check and NSW Working with Children Check prior to commencement
  • Current Driver's Licence and ability to use computers and software
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on trauma-informed care
