Childcare Chef Job Opportunity

The Journey Early Learning Group is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Cook to plan and prepare nutritionally balanced meals and snacks for children at our centres.

As a Childcare Chef, you will work as part of the centre team, building strong relationships with educators, children, and families.

  • Plan and prepare nutritionally balanced meals and snacks for all children at the centre.
  • Work collaboratively with the centre team to provide a safe and healthy environment for children.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement menus that cater to diverse dietary needs.
  2. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  3. Collaborate with the centre team to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
  4. Provide exceptional customer service to families and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Holds Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
  • Relevant Commercial Cookery Certificates (preferred).
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing healthy, nutritious meals for children of all ages.
  • Current Asthma, Anaphylaxis and First Aid Certificates.
