We are seeking a highly skilled Geospatial Software Development Specialist to join our team.

This role will provide the opportunity to work on cutting-edge geospatial applications, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists to develop innovative solutions for the Earth Observation sector.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and maintaining non-trivial geospatial applications, with a strong background in programming languages such as Python or C++ and familiarity with geospatial libraries like GDAL.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement geospatial algorithms and data structures to improve application performance and scalability,
  • Develop and maintain software tools and services to support satellite operations and data management,
  • Collaborate with partners and clients to integrate platform tools into their environments and workflows,
  • Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to spatial data acquisition, processing, and visualization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geoinformatics, or a related field,
  • 6+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on geospatial applications,
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C++, Java),
  • Familiarity with geospatial libraries and frameworks (e.g., GDAL, OGR, PROJ).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field,
  • Experience with cloud-based computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker),
  • Familiarity with agile software development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
