This is a critical leadership position within an organization, overseeing the development and governance of geospatial systems and services. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in GIS software, particularly ArcGIS Pro, and spatial data analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and coordinate geospatial systems and services across various areas.
- Manage day-to-day service delivery, support field and research projects, and ensure spatial data is secure and accessible.
- Guide a skilled GIS team to use spatial data with accuracy and cultural respect.
- Contribute to land claims, leasing, cultural mapping, and environmental planning.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Geographic Information Systems or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience in GIS software, spatial data analysis, and high-quality cartographic production.
- Demonstrated experience in supervising staff, managing workflows, and coordinating project delivery.
- Working knowledge of Aboriginal Land Rights legislation.
You'll be part of a team that's grounded in purpose and committed to the community. You'll lead work that matters—supporting Traditional Owners, protecting cultural knowledge, and enabling informed decision-making through spatial data.
