This position will undertake the regular corrective and routine maintenance around the site, including buildings, equipment, and grounds area. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building maintenance work and procedures, as well as knowledge and application of relevant legislation requirements, codes, and standards.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the prevention of equipment breakdowns by undertaking scheduled preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance tasks.
- Engage, induct, and manage external contractors to ensure efficient and cost-effective maintenance services.
- Identify and undertake maintenance and repair activities in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Conduct periodic inspections and maintenance of buildings, plant, and equipment in accordance with maintenance schedules and procedures, ensuring budget requirements are met.
- Oversee the maintenance services work performed by outside contractors to ensure required outcomes are met.
- Manage the ordering, delivery, and stock control process for consumable items used in maintenance activities.
- Procure materials and services required for maintenance activities, including obtaining quotes, purchase orders, and organizing for invoices to be approved for payment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements relating to maintenance activities and relevant Australian Standards and Regulations.
