Maintenance Officer

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Officer to join Regis Aged Care on a casual basis. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for providing building maintenance services, equipment management, painting, and gardening activities across our grounds and in and around our three wonderful aged care homes.
A Day in the Life of a Maintenance Officer
- Maintaining plant, equipment, building, and services to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.
- Ensuring up-to-date records of all chemicals in use and compliance with safety and best practices.
- Maintaining the grounds in a neat and tidy manner, including gardening activities.
- Identifying preventative maintenance requirements, completing the works, and documenting schedules.
- Ensuring preventative and corrective maintenance is actioned within legal requirements and documented in relevant registers.
What We Look for
- General hands-on maintenance or handyman skills.
- Maintenance of grounds, general painting skills, maintaining garden beds, and knowledge of gardening equipment.
- Experience in supervision or coordination of maintenance programs.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate.
