Womenswear Category Specialist

The key objective of this role is to collaborate closely with senior buyers to enhance sales and profitability across womenswear categories.

This involves monitoring market trends, customer preferences, and social media signals to identify opportunities for growth and support departmental strategy.

As a specialist in womenswear categories, you will work closely with suppliers to drive end-to-end purchasing and procurement processes, ensuring timely deliveries and efficient inventory management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing strategies to drive category sales and profitability.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of products.
  • Managing relationships with key suppliers to negotiate favourable terms and conditions.
  • Providing quality assurance reviews to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume business.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Proficient in Jira, Excel, and BI tools.
  • Knowledge of API integrations and platform software preferred.
  • Industry knowledge and compliance requirements essential.
