About the Position:

As Financial Manager, you will oversee the financial operations of our organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic insight. Reporting to the Finance Director and leading a team of direct and indirect reports, you will lead financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, and the Accounts Receivable and Payable functions.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with accounting standards.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including external audits.
  • Oversee general ledger functions and maintain robust internal controls.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to senior leadership to support business initiatives.
  • Drive improvements in financial systems and processes.
  • Lead the preparation and lodgement of annual financial statements for all group entities.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Identify and mitigate tax risks through strong internal controls and best practices.
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership across Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
  • Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and accountability.
  • Partner with business units to deliver financial insights and support decision-making.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CA qualification preferred).
  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools such as SAP, BPC, AARO, and Power BI.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • A hands-on, can-do attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Experience in a multinational corporation (desirable).
