Job Description

This is a valuable opportunity to take the next step in your career and become a key contributor to the success of our organization's Risk & Compliance team in Sydney.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders to review, analyze, and manage contracts with clients and vendors/suppliers. Your focus will be on ensuring all agreements align with legal obligations, internal policies, and regulatory standards.

You'll gain exposure to contract management within a global legal environment, supporting both client and vendor relationships.

Reporting to the Operational Risk Manager, you'll be part of a team that values excellence, collaboration, and inclusivity — where your contributions will be recognized and your growth supported.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the review of client and vendor/supplier contracts to ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies
  • Document and track agreed terms and obligations
  • Collaborate with Corporate and Business Services teams to ensure contractual obligations are understood and met
  • Conduct due diligence on new vendors/suppliers in line with our Procurement Policy and Modern Slavery Act 2018
  • Maintain and manage the company's client and vendor contract database
  • Provide guidance to stakeholders on contract-related matters
  • Assist with audits, policy updates, and compliance reporting
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in a legal, financial or professional services environment
  • Proven experience in contract analysis or a similar role
  • Strong understanding of contract law and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement
  • High attention to detail and precision in capturing terms, obligations, and deliverables
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or similar
  • CPCM or similar certification (advantageous but not essential)
