Senior Contract Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to support our operations in Australia, New Zealand, and the UK.

The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in a technology company or commercial/tech law firm practice in Australia.

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts for software licensing and professional services;
  • Advising on government tenders;
  • Protecting intellectual property;
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance;
  • Managing supplier relationships;
  • Overseeing external legal providers;
  • Mitigating legal risks;
  • Providing strategic advice to management.
About the Role:

As a Senior Contract Specialist, you will play a critical role in shaping our business by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts that align with our goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing contract strategies to meet business needs;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective contract management;
  • Identifying and mitigating potential legal risks;
  • Providing expert advice on contract-related matters.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in contract law and negotiation;
  • 4-7 years of post-qualification experience in a technology company or commercial/tech law firm practice;
