We are seeking an experienced and passionate Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our dynamic team in Northwest Australia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering person-centred, recovery-focused, and trauma-informed care to children and adolescents, aligned with the National Standards for Mental Health Services.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver specialised mental health care to paediatric inpatients, including assessments, therapeutic engagement, and trauma-informed interventions within a multidisciplinary team.
- Support leadership and resource coordination, assisting senior nursing and psychiatric staff in managing care delivery and team operations.
- Ensure high-quality, consumer-centred care, maintaining effective communication with stakeholders and adhering to clinical standards and best practices.
- Contribute to team culture and leadership, helping build a collaborative, positive environment and supporting policy implementation and clinical governance.
- Promote safety and quality, identifying clinical risks, participating in safety initiatives, and supporting continuous improvement in care outcomes.
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
- Holds or is working towards relevant post-graduate qualifications in mental health or paediatric nursing.
