Job Description

This role involves supporting operations on a well-established LNG facility in Darwin, Northern Territory.

The Maintenance Planner will utilise their expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, and fabrication trades, along with their proficiency in Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), to maintain the technical integrity and production of the facility.

  • Develop and maintain detailed maintenance plans and schedules for electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Utilise CMMS to manage work orders and maintenance tasks.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
  • Use industry-standard software to create and manage schedules and reports.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety standards and regulations.
  • Monitor and report on maintenance performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure clear understanding and execution of maintenance plans.
  • Foster a culture of safety, production, technical integrity, and efficiency in all planning and scheduling activities.
Requirements
  • Mechanical or Electrical trade qualification.
  • Proficient in the use of CMMS.
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, Primavera P6, MS Excel, and MS Project.
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to present information clearly and effectively.
  • A strong focus on safety, production, technical integrity, and efficiency.
  • 10+ years of planning/scheduling experience in a similar hydrocarbon facility or related industry.
