Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Operations Coordinator to join our team. This role involves providing operational support to the Branch Manager, assisting with the planning and scheduling of employee and vehicle daily programming for local, interstate, and international removals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve personal and operational team targets and KPIs.
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and manage your operational team to provide exceptional customer service and positive outcomes.
  • Work with managers and team members to identify opportunities for improvement, create action plans, and receive commitments to ensure outcomes/results are achieved.
  • Control the activities of Operations in a cost-effective manner.
  • Oversight of efficient employee and vehicle daily programming for local, interstate, and international removals.
  • Ensure accuracy, precision, and completeness of all relevant systems and documentation within the WMS.
  • Timely briefing and debriefing of crews.
  • Manage operational service delivery issues to resolution.
  • Participate in operational duties to cover staff and work with the team.
Requirements
  • Exposure to the removals industry with demonstrated success in operations and working in a team.
  • Operations experience in Removals, Road Transport, Storage or Logistics.
  • Forklift license (or a willingness to acquire one).
  • Willingness to learn and enthusiasm to grow your career.
  • Demonstration of developing sound operational understanding and willingness to learn how to juggle labour requirements, inventory, equipment, warehousing, purchasing etc.
  • You understand people and show enthusiasm to invest in their development and training.
