The position of Site Supervisor involves coordinating and overseeing all physical aspects of day-to-day project activities, prioritizing safety and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Completion of construction tasks on schedule while emphasizing incident-free operations and maintaining a focus on quality.
- Ensuring projects meet high standards of quality and are completed within the planned timeframe.
- Coordinating onsite activities in alignment with priorities set by the Site or Project Manager.
- Providing leadership to labor teams, effectively allocating their daily tasks for safe and efficient execution.
- Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation.
- Implement and adhere to the project's safety plan, ensuring all work is carried out safely.
- Consistently promote safety awareness and identify areas where additional safety training may be needed.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant environmental regulations and legislation.
- Assess and adhere to site-specific environmental management objectives and targets.
- Implement and manage erosion and sediment control measures on site.
- Ensure adherence to the provisions of the Project Quality Plan.
- Manage and facilitate quality inspections throughout the project.
- Address and resolve all quality assurance issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
