Job Overview

Lifestyle Solutions supports individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and live independently. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in empowering customers to develop essential life skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mentor customers in exploring and developing their personal interests and hobbies.
  • Coach independent living skills such as cooking, domestic, and social skills.
  • Administer medication and adhere to individual support plans.
  • Prepare clear, concise, and factual handover notes and incident reports.
  • Provide personal care such as toileting, showering, feeding, and dressing when required.
Requirements:
  • Be willing to work varied shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, awake shifts, sleepovers, and weekends.
  • Develop versatile communication skills to interact with both verbal and non-verbal customers.
  • Hold a current driver's license.
  • Obtain or hold an NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
  • Possess a current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003).
  • Hold formal qualifications in Disability, Community Services, or similar.
