Lifestyle Solutions supports individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and live independently. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in empowering customers to develop essential life skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Mentor customers in exploring and developing their personal interests and hobbies.
- Coach independent living skills such as cooking, domestic, and social skills.
- Administer medication and adhere to individual support plans.
- Prepare clear, concise, and factual handover notes and incident reports.
- Provide personal care such as toileting, showering, feeding, and dressing when required.
- Be willing to work varied shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, awake shifts, sleepovers, and weekends.
- Develop versatile communication skills to interact with both verbal and non-verbal customers.
- Hold a current driver's license.
- Obtain or hold an NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
- Possess a current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003).
- Hold formal qualifications in Disability, Community Services, or similar.
