Recovery Coach/Support Coordinator

As a Recovery Coach and Support Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in empowering individuals with psychosocial disabilities to lead fulfilling lives. Your key responsibilities include providing holistic services as both a Support Coordinator and Recovery Coach. You will work closely with individuals to help them manage daily challenges, monitor progress, and take corrective actions when necessary.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Adaptability and the ability to engage in mentoring as required.
  • Strong understanding of Coordination of Supports and Recovery Coaching under the NDIS.
  • Advanced skills in working with people with Psychosocial Disabilities, including knowledge of relevant disability service standards and legislative requirements.
  • Experience sharing lived or living experience of mental health challenges purposefully and intentionally with customers and staff.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build effective relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting systems.

Essential Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in peer work or mental health (minimum of Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work or Certificate IV in Mental Health).
  • At least two years of experience in mental health-related work.
  • Current Police Check (not older than 3 months), NSW Working with Children Check, NDIS worker screening check.
  • Valid NSW Driver's C class license, with the ability to drive vehicles including large cars and vans.
