Empowering Young People
Job OpportunityWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to support the needs of young people aged 12-25. As a Youth Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in connecting them with essential services, providing personalized care planning, and offering ongoing support.
Key ResponsibilitiesYour primary responsibilities will include:
- Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with young people, their families, and carers.
- Providing guidance and support to help young people navigate life's challenges.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care planning and delivery.
Skill Requirements
- Tertiary level degree in social work, psychology, nursing, or other Allied Health profession.
- Experience in delivering individual and group counseling, with a focus on building therapeutic relationships.
- Able to weigh and evaluate competing needs, responding appropriately to maintain a safe and supportive environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage clinical risk and implement strategies for mitigation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on developing and maintaining positive relationships.
