Strategic Stakeholder Engagement Manager
">Melbourne Airport is seeking a strategic-minded professional to support our stakeholder engagement program and coordinate advocacy of key projects with industry peak bodies.
">The role will focus on influencing stakeholders on major projects, identifying engagement opportunities to partner with governments, and supporting the organisation to achieve its vision.

- Monitor the political environment and identify issues and opportunities to engage with governments and peak industry groups.">
- Identify emerging policy issues and areas of risk and opportunity.">
- Manage interactions with all levels of government and coordinate an effective engagement program on major projects and key policy and industry matters.">
- Support the organisation's strategic positioning to protect and promote its reputation through regular stakeholder engagement with governments.">
- Develop content and briefing notes to support advocacy on policy issues and manage reputational risk.">
- Support the development of policy-making and coordinate engagement with internal and external stakeholders to manage strategic projects.">
- Work with business units to develop timely stakeholder responses and strategies on key issues/projects.">
- Provide strategic advice and intelligence to support the aviation, commercial property, retail, and ground transport business units on emerging issues or opportunities.">
Requirements:
">- ">
- Tertiary qualification in Public Policy, Commerce, Economics, or Law, or another associated discipline.">
- 3-5 years' experience in a Ministerial Office, Government Department, or Agency, or industry peak body.">
- Strong ability to identify key priorities and manage multiple tasks while working to tight deadlines and under pressure.">
- Strong advocacy and stakeholder engagement skills.">
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.">
