Residential Care Coordinator

This is a rewarding role where you will oversee the daily care of young people in our residential care homes.

You will step in during the House Supervisor's absence, ensuring a nurturing and safe environment for our residents.

As part of our Out of Home Care Program, you will play a vital role in shaping the experiences of young people while collaborating with the House Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily care of young people in residential care homes
  • Ensure a nurturing and safe environment for residents
  • Collaborate with the House Supervisor to achieve program goals
  • Supervise, lead and support a team of residential care workers

Requirements:

  • A knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise, lead and support a team of residential care workers
  • Experience and knowledge of the residential care field, particularly within a therapeutic environment
  • Proven ability to relate to and work with young people with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties
