Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Project Lead to spearhead projects from initial concepts through to site inspection services as required for structural engineering projects including built form, civic and public infrastructure, land development, and more.

  • Determining construction methodologies, materials and quality standards, and drafting and interpreting specifications, drawings, plans, construction methods and procedures
  • Monitoring changes to designs, assessing effects on costs, and measuring, valuing and negotiating variations to designs
  • Understanding and applying technical aspects of design utilising the Australian Standards and relevant codes of practice

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field
  • 5 or more years experience working in a structural consulting environment
  • Ability to lead projects, manage budgets and programs to meet clients' project needs
  • Ability to design civil engineering schemes and designs utilising the Australian Standards and codes of practice
  • Technical expertise to include builtform civil, land development and/or transport
Key Responsibilities

The role requires strong leadership and project management skills to deliver projects efficiently. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Determining construction methodologies, materials and quality standards
  2. Maintaining accurate records of designs and specifications
  3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of projects

  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and Revit
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
