Job Description:

As a Sustainability Specialist, you will play a key role in leading our sustainability program and communicating our success to various stakeholders.

You will work closely with the Sustainability Manager and Head of Corporate Affairs & Sustainability to deliver our sustainability program and contribute to sustainability planning and strategy.

Our sustainability program encompasses various initiatives, including financial inclusion, reconciliation, community investment, climate action, and responsible banking. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by supporting the development and implementation of our sustainability strategy, advocating for social, environmental, and governance improvements, and leveraging sustainability initiatives to generate value through communications and marketing.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' experience in corporate or consulting environments and proven ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Sustainability Manager in delivering our sustainability program
  • Contributing to sustainability planning and strategy
  • Working with internal and external teams to bring our purpose to life
  • Developing and implementing sustainability initiatives
  • Communicating our sustainability successes to various stakeholders
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years' experience in corporate or consulting environments
  • Proven ability to build relationships and communicate effectively
  • Strong understanding of sustainability principles and practices
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
