Sustainability Specialist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainability strategies that align with our goals and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sustainability strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits to measure environmental impact and compliance with sustainability standards.
  • Monitor and report on sustainability performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability practices throughout the organization.
  • Stay up-to-date on trends, regulations, and developments in sustainability and ESG arenas.
  • Prepare and present reports for internal stakeholders and external disclosures related to sustainability and ESG performance.
  • Engage with stakeholders to promote our sustainability initiatives.
  • Support obtaining sustainability certifications and maintaining compliance with ESG-related regulations.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives promoting a culture of sustainability within the organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sustainability, ESG reporting, or a related area.
  • Strong understanding of sustainability frameworks and ESG reporting standards (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD).
  • Excellent analytical skills and data interpretation ability.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated collaboration and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficiency in sustainability reporting tools and software.
  • Passion for sustainability and commitment to making a positive impact.
