About the Role

The Flinders And Upper North Local Health Network is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Rehabilitation Clinician to join our team in the Community Mental Health department.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, consumer-centered mental health services in community and rehabilitation settings. Your expertise will be utilized to develop, execute, and assess a holistic spectrum of services tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families on mental health issues, coping strategies, and recovery techniques.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Recognized qualification in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
  • Eligibility for registration as an occupational therapist in Australia.
  • Proven experience in community mental health or rehabilitation settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
