About the Role

The Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) Mental Health Clinical Program is a multidisciplinary team providing recovery-focussed clinical services to consumers. Our teams include inpatient and sub-acute, community and rehabilitation teams in youth, adult and older persons' services.

Key Responsibilities
  • As a mental health clinician, you will work as a part of the multi-disciplinary team and be accountable for the provision of team and discipline specific services with the aim of improving consumers' clinical outcomes.
  • You will be responsible for the delivery of a range of clinical activities appropriate to the setting, including care coordination, acute mental health and psychosocial assessments, care planning and clinical review, consistent with the Model of Care and Service Plan.
  • You will work collaboratively with consumers, families and carers to maximise wellbeing, assist stabilisation of mental health and build capacity for self-management to enable maintenance of community tenure.
Requirements
  • Current National Police Clearance for working unsupervised with vulnerable groups (NPC)
  • Working with Children Check
  • Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description
