Trade Assistant

Join Calibre Spraying in Brookton

We're looking for a motivated Trade Assistant to join our busy workshop team, helping build and support some of the most advanced agricultural machinery in Australia.

This role is hands-on and varied — ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, learning new skills, and being part of a tight-knit team.

What you'll be doing:
  • Assisting qualified tradespeople with daily workshop tasks
  • Preparing parts and materials for builds and repairs
  • Handling tools, equipment, and basic mechanical fitting tasks
  • Helping with freight, deliveries, and organising parts
  • Keeping work areas tidy, safe, and ready for production
  • Supporting assembly and finishing of agricultural machinery
  • General workshop duties as required
What we're looking for:
  • Previous workshop or trade assistant experience preferred, but not essential
  • Practical, hands-on attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to follow instructions and work within a team
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Basic mechanical aptitude or interest in machinery
