Transformational Virtual Reality Project Lead

A high-calibre project lead is required to spearhead the development and implementation of a cutting-edge virtual reality training programme aimed at revolutionising de-escalation techniques for managing patients with reactive behaviours in hospital settings.
Key Responsibilities:- Spearhead the creation and rollout of an interactive VR training programme designed to reduce the use of restrictive practices and minimise dangerous incidents by enhancing staff confidence and skills in identifying and managing reactive behaviours.
- Oversee training workshops that empower nursing and interdisciplinary teams to recognise behaviours, select appropriate responses, and apply positive reinforcement, with real-time feedback through immersive VR simulations.
- Foster a culture of compassion, teamwork, and communication among nursing staff, security, and support personnel across clinical units, especially in areas with high incidences of code back responses involving older patients.
- Manage programme evaluation and continuous improvement, ensuring broad accessibility for all interested staff following initial implementation.
