A leading organisation in the field of engineering and construction is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join their team as a Contract Administrator.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting tender delivery, analysing quotations, conducting site inspections, managing budgets and programmes, and ensuring that all project documentation is up-to-date and accurate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support tender delivery by analysing quotations and preparing basic estimates and recommendations
  • Conduct site inspections and manage budgets and programmes
  • Manage payment claims within contract terms
  • Analyse site instructions and sub-contractor variations/price variations and submit for approval
  • Review project documentation and identify potential defects/project delays
  • Ensure records and reports are completed and captured in Procore
  • Participate in project start-up meetings
  • Review, understand, and have input to subcontractor and supplier scope of works
  • Regularly report to line manager on budgets
  • Ensure subcontractors/suppliers complete works in accordance with project documentation and specifications
  • Monitor and provide feedback to Project Managers to achieve agreed program deliveries within timeframes and contract management scope
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Cert IV in Contract Administration (minimum)
  • Construction management degree or similar relevant tertiary/trade qualification (highly desirable)
  • Jobpac experience (not essential but highly regarded)
  • A minimum of 2 years practical experience in building construction industry in similar Contract Administration role
  • Reading drawings and undertaking quantity take-offs
  • Preparing detailed contracts experience
  • Managing variations, delays, and contract claims experience
  • Monitoring project cash flow and reporting experience
