The Technical Trainer role is a vital part of our site's operations, responsible for delivering training and performance support to operators. The primary goal is to ensure consistent training to full competence while promoting lean practices.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Demonstrate commitment to Zero Harm through reporting incidents, acting as a safety leader, and addressing safety concerns in a timely manner.">
  • Support the Plant Training Lead in conducting annual training needs analysis, consulting stakeholders from the Plant Management team, EHS Manager, Quality Manager, People Partner, HMOS Lead, etc.">
  • Maintain an SOP register and ensure operators are trained consistently to updated and approved SOPs, prioritizing highest risk and strategic capabilities.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ">
  • Skill: Demonstrated ability to build credibility quickly at all levels within manufacturing and supply chain; excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.">
  • Knowledge: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment preferred.">
  • Experience: Experience working in a manufacturing or distribution environment, fibre cement production preferred; thorough understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures.">
  • Skills: Ability to work autonomously and remain organized to achieve goals within desired timeframes.">
  • Knowledge: Exposure to awards/collective agreements/dealing with unions preferred; working with a lean 4x4 methodology and driving continuous improvement.">
