We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Development Strategist to join our team at RMIT University. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading philanthropic partnerships, securing major donors, and providing strategic guidance to College leadership on fundraising initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to cultivate and secure major donations from individuals and organizations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including academic staff, administrators, students, and potential donors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies, activities, and relationship management.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record in fundraising within a major organization, including cultivation, gift closing, and stewardship.
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong diagnostic, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions.
