Seeking a seasoned finance expert to oversee internal finance operations and ensure seamless day-to-day performance.

About the Role

The successful candidate will manage finance operations in close collaboration with external accountants, requiring strong understanding of payroll, compliance, budgeting, and financial reporting. This high-volume position demands accuracy, accountability, and strong commitment to meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer payroll and ensure compliance with Single Touch Payroll (STP) requirements.
  • Manage BAS, PAYG, Payroll Tax, Fuel Tax Credits, and Superannuation obligations.
  • Prepare and monitor budgets, track expenditure, and support cash flow forecasting.
  • Approve and allocate expenses across business units and locations.
  • Oversee supplier purchase orders, accounts payable, and accounts receivable (120–200 transactions per day).
  • Undertake reconciliations, including accounts, clearing accounts, and corporate credit cards.
  • Liaise with external accountants to ensure compliance and accurate reporting.
About You

We are looking for a finance professional with an accounting or finance background, preferably with a degree or tertiary qualifications. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience with end-to-end accounts management and strong proficiency in Xero or MYOB. They must have exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and ability to work autonomously.
