Our organisation seeks an experienced professional to oversee the internal finance function as a key member of our team.

About the Role

This dynamic role involves managing day-to-day finance operations and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. As an Accounts Officer, you will report to the Office Manager and be responsible for administering payroll, BAS, PAYG, Payroll Tax, Fuel Tax Credits, and Superannuation obligations.

You will also prepare and monitor budgets, track expenditure, support cashflow forecasting, approve and allocate expenses across business units and locations, oversee supplier purchase orders, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, undertake reconciliations, and liaise with external accountants to ensure accurate reporting.

Requirements

We are seeking an individual with an accounting or finance background, preferably holding a degree or tertiary qualifications. Demonstrated experience with end-to-end accounts management is essential, along with strong proficiency in Xero or MYOB. Exceptional attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to work autonomously are required.
