About the Role- We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to support our financial operations.
- The role requires strong technical knowledge in payroll processing, statutory compliance, and financial reconciliation.
- End-to-end bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank and credit card reconciliations
- Full-cycle payroll processing, including superannuation, PAYG, and award interpretation
- Maintain general ledger integrity and assist with BAS, IAS, and superannuation lodgement
- Prepare month-end financial reports and assist in cash flow forecasting
- Support audit preparation and external accountant liaison
- Manage employee data, ensuring Fair Work and ATO requirements are met
- Ensure compliance with relevant tax and financial legislation
- Minimum 3 years' experience in bookkeeping and payroll
- Proficient with Sage, MYOB, or similar accounting software
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, Modern Awards, and Fair Work requirements
- Understanding of GST, BAS, PAYG, and Superannuation compliance
- High attention to detail, confidentiality, and organisational skills
- Ability to manage deadlines independently and prioritise tasks
- Certificate IV in Bookkeeping/Accounting or equivalent (preferred)
