We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic professional to join our team as a Rehabilitation Counsellor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide initial assessment, psychometric testing, and brief interventions for individuals with psychosocial barriers to employment or sustaining employment.
  • Conduct new employment vocational assessments, transferable skills analysis, recovery support for clients.
  • Assess and report on psychological functional capacities/complete psychological functional assessments for injured workers and return-to-work goals.
  • Assess and make recommendations on the effects of mental health and medical conditions on ability to work.
  • Write detailed case notes and reports.
  • Support veterans in achieving their psychosocial, medical, and return-to-work objectives.

Requirements:
  • Hold a Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counselling or related field.
  • Be eligible for ASORC or RCAA accreditation upon graduating.
  • Have graduated in the last 12 months or be graduating soon.
  • Agree to a pre-employment national criminal check prior to employment.
  • Have full Australian working rights.
  • Hold a full driver's license, own vehicle, and comprehensive insurance.
